Tim Considine

Tim is the Managing Director and a partner of Austbrokers Countrywide and has practiced extensively in the insurance industry for over 30 years. His broad range of experience with Corporate and National accounts has been instrumental in the delivery of alternative Risk Financing concepts and Risk Management techniques to satisfy the complex requirements of these types of businesses. Tim also established an Insurance Broking business for The Australian Professional Engineers, Scientists and Managers Association (APESMA) in 1985 and has been influential in developing similar insurance services for other associations such as the Australian Human Resources Institute (AHRI) and the Australian Computer Society (ACS).

Greg Hansen

Greg is a Director and partner of Austbrokers Countrywide. Greg specialises in the professional risks area, incorporating Directors & Officers Liability and Professional Indemnity insurance programs. For over 17 years Greg has focused his attention upon these areas of risk for clients, acting for both Insurance Companies and for Insurance Brokers. Greg is regularly requested to deliver talks to Associations and Company Boards on Director Liabilities and their professional exposures.

Greg has an extensive background working for large Insurance Companies in the development of professional risk policy wordings and seeing how they operate. Over the years Greg has seen firsthand how a Directors & Officers Liability policy operates at the most crucial of times - when a large claim is notified. Greg manages several large Professional Indemnity schemes for a number of National Associations. Extensive experience with claims against large corporate firms has been invaluable in assisting Greg to ensure clients avoid pitfalls and understand contractual liabilities which have the potential to sit outside their insurance program.

Matt Kuc

Matt is an Account Manager with Austbrokers Countrywide who is actively involved with servicing a number of large Corporate and National clients along with Greg Hansen and manages professional risks claims department for these clients. Matt also manages a portfolio of his own clientele. Matt has in excess of 5 years insurance and risk management experience and provides exceptional broking services, with key skills in technical and analytical areas. Matt is a key manager of Countrywide’s ongoing relationship with the Australian Computer Society (ACS) in servicing both its consultant and corporate members. Matt has a particular specialisation with Professional Indemnity Insurance, Directors & Officers Liability Insurance and IT Liability Insurance. His portfolio includes a large number of IT, Engineering, Accounting, and Financial Planning Consultancy businesses. Matt recently received two awards recognizing his excellence in Insurance Broking, encompassing key areas of growth, innovation, relationships, education and procedural effectiveness.

Stuart Gradie

A Risk Adviser and Insurance Specialist of over 24 years experience, I specialise in Financial and Professional Insurance products and services. I have a strong focus on client advocacy, including outcome focused, needs analysis and strategic thinking with a local and global perspective. Skills include policy construction, coverage and premium negotiation, understanding client needs, problem solving, financial analysis, risk profiling, leadership and management.

Richard Aumann

Richard is an Account Manager specialising in the Professional Risks area focusing primarily in the resources sector in association with The Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM). Richard has experience acting for both Insurer and Insurance Brokers in his 7 years within the industry. He has represented many types of clients within the business community and specialises in small and medium sized enterprises.

Richard’s main role is to act on behalf of his clients to achieve best practice outcomes. Advice and service are paramount along with sourcing insurance products to compliment the client’s needs

  • Bachelor of Business (Enterprise Development)
  • Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) Senior Associate
  • Senior Associate Member of Australia and New Zealand Insurance Institute (Snr Assoc ANZIIF)

Vincent Rizzuto

Vincent has 9 years experience as a Professional Risks underwriter. Formerly a team leader with a Professional Risks Insurer, he was responsible for a 12 person underwriting team. In this role, Vincent was across all financial lines, including Medical Malpractice, Professional Indemnity and Management Liability. Vincent was also part of an Information Technology portfolio team, charged with developing guidelines and risk appetite in the IT segmentation. Vincent brings a technical expertise to the team with a broad knowledge of professions and occupations.

As a broker he brings the ability to dissect policy wordings and discuss coverage differences, to better inform the client and the underwriter alike, making sure that the client has the right policy for their professional occupation.

  • Associate Member of Australia and New Zealand Insurance Institute (Assoc ANZIIF)

Sara Mithen

Sara has had 10 years’ experience in Insurance Broking and has a broad knowledge having worked In an Account Manager capacity handling accounts with Property, Liability, Motor Vehicle, Information Technology Liability, Professional Indemnity, Management Liability coverage requirements. Sara’s current role is that of Claims Administrator within the Professional Indemnity Department.

  • Bachelor of Laws
  • Fellow Member of Australia and New Zealand Insurance Institute (Fellow ANZIIF) CIP
  • Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (NIBA)
